Miami Has Reportedly Signed $140 Million, A Record-Breaking Five years Extension…

Alex Mirabal has had his eye on offensive lineman Jaelyne Matthews of Toms River (NJ) North since he was an Oregon student.

The enormous 6-foot-5, 290-pound player saw Miami for the first time on Saturday. His recruitment has been influenced by the Hurricanes and will continue to be so, as a commitment from them is imminent.

Miami had a successful visit on Saturday and closed on a major objective.

Girard Pringle Jr., a running back from Seffner, Fla., who is a Top247 Armwood, received an offer from Miami as soon as Matt Merritt took over as the Hurricanes’ new head coach. The two have been together for a year.

Pringle was Merritt’s top target while he was at USF, and the two became close. With schools like Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas A&M, and others offering, Merritt swiftly propelled the Hurricanes to the top of the list as the 5-foot-10, 182-pound recruit class took off this spring.

Following a few weeks of visiting Gainesville, Athens, and Tuscaloosa, Pringle returned to Coral Gables and made the decision to finish his recruiting process and make his commitment to Miami and Merritt.

“The school is fantastic. Everything about it, including the intensity and coaches Merritt and Cristobal, is amazing. After the visit, Pringle told InsideTheU, “I love them dudes.”

“I just feel comfortable here,” Pringle added. “I feel loved here.”

Merritt making the move over and leading the charge for the Hurricanes was a major factor. He now gets to coach the speedy tailback (10.56 100-meter time) who ran for over 1600 yards with 24 touchdowns as a junior.
