Alex Mirabal has had his eye on offensive lineman Jaelyne Matthews of Toms River (NJ) North since he was an Oregon student.

The enormous 6-foot-5, 290-pound player saw Miami for the first time on Saturday. His recruitment has been influenced by the Hurricanes and will continue to be so, as a commitment from them is imminent.

During the winter transfer window, thousands of players registered on college football teams, and many of them have higher expectations from their new teams. Due to fanfare, increased expectations, and their positions on championship contenders, among other reasons, ten transfers in particular will be under the most pressure the next season.

There are nine quarterbacks on the 2024 College Football Transfer Portal top 50, with multiple players appearing on this list. Several of these signal callers are leading program rebuilds, taking the place of program icons, or are thought of as the crucial components needed for College Football Playoff contenders.

Dec. 3 marked the opening of the winter portal window, which stayed open until Jan. 2. Players received an extra five days if they participated in a playoff competition (such as the CFP or a bowl game). Players that had a head coaching change with their team over the summer were granted an additional 30 days. From April 15–30, the gateway will reopen for two weeks
