The Eagles signed former Cowboys quarterback Will Grier, as was reported on GH. Prior to training camp, Grier will be in the quarterback room with Tanner McKee, Jalen Hurts, and Kenny Pickett.
The Carolina Panthers drafted Grier in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He went 28/52 passing for 228 yards and four interceptions in the 2019 season, but he hasn’t played in a regular-season game since.
Grier played with the Cowboys during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He was cut following the Cowboys’ trade for Trey Lance. Last season, Grier spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, and Los Angeles Chargers.
