Alabama New signing LB Bryce Huff Angrily Terminate his $55.8 Million contract with Alabama Due to the Inappropriate Regards from…

Pittsburgh has until May 2 to exercise their 2025 season option. Harris will receive a guaranteed $6.79 million salary from the Steelers if they choose to sign him in 2025.

Harris would rank No. 12 on the NFL running backs’ salary list for the upcoming season if that sum represented his salary for the 2024 campaign.

In the event that Pittsburgh does not exercise its option, Harris may be available for free the next offseason.

Before then, Harris might negotiate a contract extension with the Steelers.

After stating that the option choice “has not” been made, Tomlin commended Harris.

Since joining our team, Naj has undoubtedly been a model of consistency, according to Tomlin. “I believe I saw a statistic that said his three seasons with 1,000 yards were in uncommon company, and that just goes to show how important he has been to us.”

In his first three seasons, Harris became the 18th player in NFL history to carry for 1,000 yards in each of those seasons.

Throughout his NFL career, Harris has amassed 834 running attempts for 3,269 yards and 22 touchdowns, as well as 144 receptions for 866 yards and six touchdowns.

In just three seasons, Harris has amassed more rushing yards and receptions than any other player in NFL history. The other two are former Auburn star William Andrews and Pro Football Hall of Fame members Edgerrin James and LaDainian Tomlinson.

A two-time 1,000-yard runner for Alabama, Harris was named a unanimous All-American, took home the Doak Walker Award as the finest back in the country, and for the Crimson Tide’s 2020 undefeated CFP national championship squad, he set an SEC single-season TD record.
