Man Utd supporters are furious because the team moved seats and cited “youth player development.”

After Manchester United moved their seats at Old Trafford, citing the development of their young players as one of their justifications, a number of supporters vented their rage.

After supporters in Sir Bobby Charlton Stand block S122 were told they will be moving next season, South Stand United was created.

The group claims that they would demonstrate during Sunday’s FA Cup quarterfinal matchup between United and Liverpool because they are offended by Collette Roche, United’s chief operations officer, who claimed that the venue might promote the growth of young players.

In a letter obtained by the PA news agency, Roche stated, “We believe that having a side view of the action is optimal to their development and future performance, especially for our younger players. Being located close to the suite they access is also important.”

“Given the rising prominence of many of our younger and female team players, it is also crucial that these tickets are seated together under proper supervision.”

That was one of six bullet points that were used to justify the choice, and it seemed to particularly annoy South Stand United, who expressed their disapproval in a sarcastic statement.

The group said, “Who knew that fans were sitting on a gold mine of player potential in Block S122 all these years?”

The club might as well declare, “Pitch-Perfect View Turns Benchwarmers to Benchmarks.”

The shocking part is that the devoted army of followers, who have endured hardships and enjoyed success, are the ones being “repositioned” for this brilliant stroke of genius.
