According to Stathead, Harris’ 30-plus point performance against the Kings on Friday night officially marked the first time Harris has scored more than 30 points in back-to-back games. Considering Harris has been in the NBA since 2011, it’s shocking that the veteran wants to arrive at the right time. Harris struggled mightily in the Sixers’ loss to the New York Knicks last week. Before the game reached the fourth quarter, Harris’ ankle pain was ruled out. When the Sixers returned to the court the next night to face the Utah Jazz, Harris sat out the game. On Wednesday, the Sixers opened their weekly slate with a late game against the Atlanta Hawks. In the overtime thriller, Harris shot 50 percent and made all seven free throws for 32 points. It was just the second time Harris scored 30 points in a game this season and the first since he did it on Dec. 22 against the Toronto Raptors. Unfortunately, Harris’ contribution against Atlanta on Wednesday didn’t help the Sixers get the results they wanted, as they lost their third game in a row. When they returned to the floor to face the Kings on Friday, Harris upped his performance from the week before and helped lead the Sixers back to victory..
