After lying on the field for a few minutes, Brown carefully made his way to the medical tent, putting his right knee first, and then proceeded to the Eagles’ locker room. “A.J.’s playing time was going to be stretched,” head coach Nick Sirianni stated on Saturday. “He prepared himself as much as he possibly could. He battled valiantly, doing everything within his power.” Brown hauled in 106 passes for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns before the end of the regular season. When the Eagles defeated the Buccaneers in September, he had nine receptions for 131 yards.

This week, Brown didn’t practice at all.Sirianni stated, “Unfortunately, he won’t be able to rip it this week.” Should the Eagles advance, Brown was not ruled out for the following round.  Due to a right hand injury to his middle finger, quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to return to action following a light throwing week. Eagles’ WR A.J. Brown, who fought hard in his rehab to attempt to make it back this week, is out for Monday night’s wild-card clash vs. the Bucs due to his injured knee, per sources. Brown has advanced to the point where he might return for the divisional round if the Eagles win.

Sirianni predicted that “everyone will be fighting through things.” “Despite his finger injury, he is persevering.” However, he practiced well on Friday.Sirianni stated that he didn’t regret starting the starters in a game that had little real significance. The Eagles, the reigning NFC champions, started the season 10-1 but were demoted to the No. 5 seed after a 1-5 record.

Hurts reportedly showed off his throwing prowess throughout practice, inspiring fans to believe that he will be ready for the big game. Hurts threw the ball down the field for the first time on Friday, according to ESPN’s Tim McManus. This was a big improvement than his one-short pass performance on Thursday’s practic

This development is especially encouraging because Hurts had not completed a pass since he was hurt during the New York Giants game on Sunday. Marcus Mariota took Hurts’ position following the injury. Hurts’ availability will surely determine whether the Eagles make it to the postseason. Even though the team hasn’t played well lately, their performance might be greatly improved if their starting quarterback is on the field. Hurts’ outstanding regular season numbers—3,858 passing yards and 23 touchdowns—further highlight how valuable he is to the group.
