The Los Angeles Rams have retained the former Alabama tight end.

On March 13, the first day of the NFL’s 2023 business year, an NFL team may add a player to a reserve/future contract when the roster grows from 53 to 90 players for the offseason. The recently signed players are now able to take part in team activities like as OTAs, minicamps, and offseason workouts.Reserve/future contracts can only be signed by players who are not already on NFL active rosters.

Forristall will be in his second season with the Rams in 2024, however he did not participate in the 2023 NFL season. The tight end was a member of the Los Angeles practice squad for all but two weeks of the 2023 season.In 2023, the Rams were Forristall’s third team.On January 26, Forristall joined with New Orleans. The Saints placed Forristall on the physically unable to perform list on July 20 due to an unexplained illness just before training camp opened. The Saints said on July 24 that Forristall had cleared his physical, allowing him to participate in training camp drills. But Forristall was waived by New Orleans on July 25On August 4, Forristall became a member of the Cleveland Browns. On August 26,theBrownswaivedhiminordertlowerthenumberofplayersontheirpreseasonrosterto53fortheregularseason.

Forristall was signed by the Rams on September 12 and was initially part of their practice squad. He was released on December 5 and thenre-signed the following week.an undrafted rookie, Forristall signed with the Tennessee Titans in May 2021 to make his NFL debut. That season, hewasamemberoftheBrowns’andTitans’practicesquads.ForristallparticipatedintworookiegamesandfourClevelandgamesin2022. Since the end of the 2023 NFL, Forristall became the 16th player from an Alabama high school or college to sign a reserve/future contract

Chandler Brewer (Florence), an offensive lineman, signed a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Rushing back Mortimer Jordan of UAB’s Spencer Brown inked a contract with the Carolina Panthers.

Shyheim Carter, an Alabama safety, signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans. Jacksonville State defensive end DJ Coleman inked a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.· D.J. Fluker, an offensive lineman from Foley, Alabama, signed a contract with the Las Vegas  Raiders. The Cincinnati Bengals signed Andalusia native cornerback Allan George. The New York Jets have signed Decatur native Tae Hayes, a cornerback. · Auburn native Shedrick Jackson, a wide receiver, signed a contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.  Jordan Matthews, a tight end from Madison Academy, received a contract with the Carolina Panthers.

· Miami Dolphins wide receiver Anthony Schwartz (Auburn) signed a contract. tense conclusion The Las Vegas Raiders have signed Auburn native John Samuel Shenker. · Lachavious Simmons, an offensive lineman from Selma, received a contract with the Tennessee Titans. Cam Sims, an Alabama wide receiver, signed a contract with the Carolina Panthers. The Kansas City Chiefs signed outside linebacker Jordan Smith (UAB).  Jacksonville Jaguars center Darryl Williams (Bessemer City) signed a contract.
