Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel, offensive coordinator Joey Halzle and wide receiver Kelsey Popehad will make the important trip Thursday afternoon. They scouted Mandarin High School wide receiver Jaime Ffrench together. Recently fired from Alabama, French began recruiting him in earnest. Tennessee’s chances got a boost when Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre committed to the Vols. Ffrench and MacIntyre have a past relationship and are recruited by MacIntyre. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, France is the No. 12 prospect in the 2025 class. He registers as the No. 3 wide receiver in the class and is one of the next elite receivers coming out of Jacksonville, Florida.
The Frenchman contacted 247Sportsand#039; with Steve Wiltfong and confirmed that he currently has a “sharp” Florida State, Miami and Ohio State top three. He also mentioned Georgia, Texas A&M, Tennessee and Notre Dame as schools of interest.
