Bally Games Ohio correspondent Jim Day discussed Spencer Steer’s commitment and impending wedding plans during the Cincinnati Reds’ series finale Sunday against the New York Mets at Extraordinary American Ball Park.

“Back in January, he got on one knee in Vail, Colorado, before her whole family,” Day said during the transmission. “She was brought up in Colorado. Furthermore, the wedding is set for this offseason. It’ll a colder time of year marry. Also, it’ll be in Southern California. … And realizing how much colleagues love Spencer Steer. This might be the most gone to wedding in Reds history to the extent that colleagues go. He’s that very much cherished in the clubhouse.”

Steer’s fiancee, Jen Lanuza, played lacrosse at Oregon while Steer played baseball for the Ducks.
