Last month, Purdy was shooting a John Deere business in a sloping region close to the edges of San Francisco. CBS columnist Sara Donchey turned out to walk her canine close by.

As Donchey moved toward the set, an immense coyote turned out to follow her from behind. Purdy shouted, “coyote!” to caution Donchey, which frightened away the hunter.

“I can’t completely accept that that was a genuine article,” Purdy told McAfee on Tuesday. “Better believe it, she strolled by and said she was a reporter. I was like, ‘Fella, I just saved a reporter’s life from getting eaten by a coyote.’ However it’s genuine, man. I can affirm it.”

Donchey said she expressed gratitude toward Purdy after the episode and complimented him on a heavenly season.

Purdy, who is in line for a monstrous payday from the 49ers next offseason, tossed for 4,280 yards and 31 scores in 2023.

Purdy drove the 49ers the entire way to the Super Bowl. He might not have won the Lombardi Prize in his subsequent season, yet “Mr. Unimportant” won some significant karma focuses for saving somebody’s life.
