Louisville, KY – A Bullitt Region, Kentucky, man was condemned yesterday to 2 years and 9 months in government jail for unlawfully having a gun in the wake of having been recently sentenced for a crime offense.

U.S. Lawyer Michael A. Bennett of the Western Area of Kentucky, Specialist in Control Michael E. Stansbury of the FBI Louisville Field Office, and Colonel Marcus Laytham, Head of the Mt. Washington Police Office, made the declaration.

As per court records, James Nott, 41, was condemned to 2 years and 9 months in jail, trailed by 3 years of directed discharge, for illicitly having an AK-type 7.62 mm rifle, a Sanction Arms .38 unique pistol, and ammo on July 11, 2023. Nott was denied from having a gun since he had recently been indicted for the accompanying crime offenses.

On November 11, 2011, in the US Region Court for the Western Locale of Kentucky, Nott was sentenced for ownership of an unregistered horrendous gadget and ownership of a gun by an unlawful client of pot.

There is no parole in the government framework.

This case was explored by the FBI and the Mt. Washington Police Office.
