Due to an injury, LSG fast bowler Shivam Mavi will miss the rest of the 2024 Indian Premier League season. The team announced the news on April 3, which was the day after KL Rahul and company surprised the RCB in Bengaluru to win twice in a row this season.

Due to an injury, LSG fast bowler Shivam Mavi was benched for the team’s first three games of the season and is thus officially out of the IPL 2024. The franchise revealed the information with a unique video message from Mavi, a 25-year-old who expressed his displeasure for the same.

Shivam Mavi was purchased by the LSG team at the IPL 2024 auction in December 2023 for an incredible amount of Rs. 6.4 crores.

The extraordinary fast bowling talent has taken 53 wickets in 52 T20 matches thus far, including 30 for the KKR team in the IPL.

In the meantime, the LSG team recently defeated the RCB by 28 runs to win their second straight IPL 2024 season. They now sit at the top of the points table and will take on Gujarat Titans in the tournament’s 21st match on April 7 in Lucknow.
