Toumani Camara, a forward with the Portland Trail Blazers, sustained a rib injury that ended his season. The youngster, who has been a constant bright spot in Portland’s otherwise dismal roster, left the game last Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks in the fourth quarter. The Blazers announced via Twitter today that Camara sustained a rib fracture and a minor cut to his kidney. Although a full recovery is anticipated, he will miss the remaining Portland schedule for 2023–2024.
There are eight games left for the Blazers before the end of the season. They have a 19–55 record as of right now.For the Blazers this season, Camara has made 70 appearances, starting 49 of them.
