Saquon Barkley’s daughter savagely trolls New York Giants after joining Philadelphia Eagles…

Tyler Hall, a slot cornerback, was signed by the Eagles on Wednesday.

Hall, 25, participated in 31 NFL games with six starts after being selected undrafted out of Wyoming in 2020. These six starts have occurred with the Las Vegas Raiders during the past two seasons (2022 and 2023).

Hall played largely as a special team member for the Falcons and Rams until joining the Raiders in 2022.

Over the last two seasons, Hall has played 379 defensive snaps with the Raiders. In 2022, he participated in 49% of the defensive snaps for the Raiders during his 7 games on the field. Hall has not yet picked intercepted a ball in his NFL career despite recording 46 tackles and four pass breakups.

Hall (5-10, 190) has a great deal of expertise.

So 78.4% of Hall’s career defensive snaps have come as a nickel cornerback. That’s where he likely figures to compete for a job to make the Eagles roster this summer.

The Eagles earlier this offseason released Maddox but there’s still a chance he could re-sign with the team at some point. After Maddox got injured early in the 2023 season, the slot corner position became a revolving door of Mario Goodrich, Bradley Roby, James Bradberry, Sydney Brown and more.

At the NFL Combine last month, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman even admitted that he needed to do a better job of bringing in depth at slot corner.

To be able to play that position, he stated, “I’ve got to do a better job of bringing in more guys.” “I believe that’s one area where you kind of felt like we might need to add in August, so we tried some guys.”

Hall didn’t attend the 2020 combine, but he did measure 5-foot-8 and weigh 186 pounds at the Wyoming pro day, when he also recorded a 4.40 40-yard sprint time. In college, he started for the Cowboys for two years as an outside and slot corner. In addition, he had excellent kick return skills, taking two to the house.
