8 Injured, 2 Confirmed Dead As Vegas Air Plane Crashed On There Way To….

On February 11 in Las Vegas, the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will play in the Super Bowl. Even on secondary market websites, ticket costs are exorbitant. Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, and StubHub all sell seats.

Part of that stems from the excitement surrounding the reigning champion and what is perhaps the most popular team in the West playing their first game in Las Vegas. Oh, and there’s always the good chance Taylor Swift will be present.

Demand was evident on StubHub, where the average ticket price on Monday was $9,300, albeit that is less than the Super Bowl two years prior. At the same time, the average for the Los Angeles Rams, who were playing their hometown game against the Cincinnati Bengals, was $9,797 for the game in Inglewood, California.

For this year’s game, the cheapest ticket available on StubHub was $6,500.

Sales on that website are currently ninety percent more than this time last year and four hundred and seventy-seven percent higher than the Kansas City vs. San Francisco match in 2020.

Demand is being driven by 49ers supporters’ accessible location; according to StubHub, 26% of tickets sold are to Californians. That exceeds the total number of tickets sold to residents of Nevada (8%) and Kansas or Missouri (7%).
