Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre picked the Tennessee Volunteers over Alabama last Monday. No. 16 prospect by Sportsand; The Composite Rankings bumped Tennessee up to No. in the nation for  as they now have the No.recruiti clngass in America. However, there is still work to be done. Tennessee has six commitments in the upcoming recruiting class, which means they have a lot more targets on the board. They are on a similar timeline to the  signing class,

with blue-chip quarterback Nico Iamaleava opting for the Vols his rookie year in March and many believing elite talent would follow. Tennessee signed a lot of impressive talent, but they landed a No. 11 recruiting class when some thought they had a chance to finish in the top five. VolQuestand;s Brent Hubbs continued on he Zone and Ramon,

Kayla and Will andquot; and explained why MacIntyre might have a bigger impact on his recruiting class than Iamaleava because of geography. MacIntyre’s in-state connections could be a seal for several Tennessee recruits as they play their cards in the coming months. andquot;I think he can have more of an impact than Nico just because his head is in the footprint, two hours and  minutes away from campus. So when Tennessee and brings in high-level guys, it’s easier for him to get on campus and hang out with them and recruit them than Nico.andquot; Brent Hubbs of VolQuestand in George MacIntyre.
