Jack Tuttle, the quarterback for Michigan, has been watching NCAA football for six years, starting with his redshirt year with Utah in 2018. According to Andrew Kahn of MLive on Thursday morning, the seasoned signal-caller is currently attempting to return for a seventh season. During a media availability following the Wolverines’ 34–13 victory over Washington in the national championship, Tuttle stated, “It depends.” “We’ll observe the situation. I believe I’ll get the chance to. It’s still being worked on. Right now, I’m savoring this moment.”

According to On3’s Clayton Sayfie, Tuttle planned to join Michigan’s staff in the event that his waiver was denied on Tuesday. In his extensive collegiate career, Tuttle has only reached the four-game mark three times: as star J.J. McCarthy’s backup with the Wolverines in ’23, and with Indiana in ’19 and ’21. Tuttle was sidelined by injury in just one game in 2022 and appeared in just three games for the Hoosiers in the 2020 season that was cut short by the epidemic.
