A pilot is dead after a small plane crashed in the town of Aurora Thursday morning, according to East Aurora Police.
Officials say the crash happened at 11:30 a.m. off Stewart Court, in close proximity to property owned by Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins.
“I just hope the pilot’s family is OK,” Dawkins said at Bills practice. “I hope they’re doing all right because somebody lost their life today.”
