Despite the Alabama Tide’s struggles with transfer portals, Nick Saban stays involved with the program.

Byrne declared, “He’s going to be an advisor for us.” “He has been fantastic. I spoke with him when I was looking for a coach. I mean, was he involved, someone asked me? Man, I’m not that smart, as many people know, but I’m intelligent enough to realize that it would be a pity for me to pass up the opportunity to speak with Nick Saban on coaching, football, decision-making, and leadership.

Alabama players now have a 30-day window to access the transfer site following Saban’s departure. Thus far, the Tide has experienced some significant losses; on Wednesday, offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor and safety Caleb Downs made their way out of the team.

Byrne claims that Saban has been assisting with communication.

Nick Saban is continuing to coach the football team at Alabama. The now-retired head coach of the Crimson Tide said after his retirement that he would be staying on staff at Bryant-Denny Stadium and would be purchasing an office.

Following his hiring, Kalen DeBoer assured Saban that he would have “100% access” to his previous program. Greg Byrne revealed that Saban was already working in his new job on the Paul Finebaum show on SEC Network on Wednesday.
