Emma Raducanu gives darts star Luke Littler the same advise that Ronnie O’Sullivan did.

Emma Raducanu has sent Luke Littler a caution in the wake of his incredible run for the World Darts Championship. Emma Raducanu advised her fellow adolescent prodigy to “keep your circle close,” but she also instructed Luke Littler to embrace his unexpected success. At the 2021 US Open, the British tennis player, who was rated 150th in the world at the time, made history by becoming the first qualifier to ever win a Grand Slam. At the age of 18.

Luke the Nuke nearly equalled the feat at the PDC Darts World Championship when the world No.164 reached the final at the age of 16. The tennis star, now 21, climbed into the world’s top ten but is now down at world No.299 after two years dogged by injuries and changesto her coaching regime. She also received flak for signing so many endorsement contracts. For her first Grand Slam match of the year, Raducanu took a plane to New Zealand on Christmas Eve to play American Shelby Rogersinthe Australian Open’s first round. When asked about Littler, the star from Bromley, he replied, “I don’t watch darts.” I recently received a photo of a 16-year-old guy who didn’t make it to the finals from a friend.”This guy is only 16 years old? That’s unbelievable.” Young Jack Draper, who was born in Sutton, will also be hoping to improve on Marcos Giron in Melbourne after he concludes an outstanding run at the Adelaide International.
