Raiders Has Reportedly Signed $140 Million, A Record-Breaking Five years Extension…

Over the past few years, the Green Bay Packers have been the subject of significant trades. In consecutive off-season trades, Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers were acquired. With Jordan Love leading the way and a plethora of young weapons surrounding him, the 2023 season was the pinnacle of the new era that Green Bay embarked on.

Nevertheless, supporters of the Packers continue to follow previous players for the team. When Adams recently made comments regarding the impending 2024 season, it was the same.

On his Instagram page, Adams—who is currently a notable player for the Las Vegas Raiders—shared a post about his old teammate Josh Jacobs’ signing with the Green Bay Packers. Adams encouraged his old team on the move in his post, which fueled rumors that he would want to go back to Green Bay.

The Packers traded Adams to the Raiders two years ago in exchange for first- and second-round draft picks in 2022. After that, Adams signed a record-breaking $140 million five-year extension, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. When Adams first joined the Raiders, he wanted to reunite with quarterback Derek Carr, his former teammate at Fresno State. However, Carr was released by the Raiders after the 2022 season. As Las Vegas has been losing consecutive seasons, there has been increased speculation that Adams may want to be traded.
