Confirmed: DT John Jenkins has reportedly Agreed on a $90 million to Return to Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are sticking to their new general manager Tom Telesco’s priority list, which is to re-sign free agents who don’t adhere to wage cap restrictions. While Telesco is being economical, he is not being cheap. As we have frequently reported, he has offers on the table to join Antonio Pierce and the Silver and Black, including Raiders free agents. After learning more about the procedure and realizing that the Raiders typically make fairly reasonable offers, those players decide to stay.

DT John Jenkins is one of those important guys. He has a long-standing offer from Telesco and performed admirably for the Silver and Black in 2023. After researching the market and receiving interest from other organizations, he ultimately decided to stay with the Raiders and play for Patrick Graham and Antonio Pierce in the desert.

We mentioned on our podcast this morning that while a credible reporter was covering the offer, we had not yet heard from anyone with direct knowledge of the circumstances. Moments after the confirmation came through, we are able to announce that DT John Jenkins is back. In just two days, he has also brought back two free agents who the Raiders had warned you about following the season.

Chrisitan Wilkins, the new defensive tackle for the Raiders, discussed the defensive line’s potential with him and Maxx Crosby side by side. We certainly had a brief conversation about the options and things we might accomplish, but construction will be necessary. Undoubtedly, it’s a journey and a process. Simply getting to know one another better will have to be the first step. Not only that, but once more, it will require teamwork. To make this thing function and do good things here, all eleven players will need to be on defense at all times. That being said, I’m merely excited about the possibilities and happy to be a single component of the jigsaw.
