Harvey Rodgers School in South Jersey to celebrate their reading programs!The school was one of the participants of the Philliesand#039; andquot;Fanatical About Reading Program.andquot;This program encourages students to develop their reading skills through books about the Philadelphia Phillies.andquot;We ask that students who sign up read for 15 minutes a night… It’s a free program… really try to visit 20 schools to identify the best readers in the program, that’s why we’re here today,

At Harvey Rodgers School, they are all trying to bring a home base.They used baseball terms to encourage their students to count, comparing the process to players running the bases.andquot;First base: identify our stars. an inclusive kindergarten teacher.McDermott wrote an essay about how they brought the programs into students’ lives and built on the original foundation.andquot;It was the hope and the dream that Mrs. McDermott was looking for that summer.
