Six Teams to Keep an Eye on for Michigan Transfer Keon Sabb Is Syracuse

Rivals National Recruiting analyst Adam Friedman listed Syracuse among six teams eyeing a transfer for Michigan defensive end Keon Sabb. Friedman listed Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn and Syracuse as teams, followed by transfer Sabband number 039. Sabb entered the transfer window on Friday after two seasons at Michigan. He appeared in four games as a true freshman in 2022, mostly on special teams, before making 14 tackles for the national champions in 2023. That includes five starts last season at safety. In 2023, Sabb recorded 28 tackles, one loss, two interceptions,

including one for six, and six passes defensed. He was slated to start for the Wolverines in 2024, but a coaching change led to an exploration of his options. As a high school recruit, Sabb was a consensus four-star prospect and top-100 player at Florida’s IMG Academy. A native of New Jersey, he played his first two years of high school at Glassboro. Syracuse has built a relationship with Sabb, as defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson was his primary recruiter at Texas A&M, as was Rutgers head coach Fran Brown. Sabb was listed at 6-1, 208 pounds on the Michigan Athletics website..While Jackson hasn’t coached at many major programs, his success as a player should help him recruit some of the best quarterbacks in the country. While he hasn’t reached the same level as Jason Taylor in the pros, he can command respect in the defensive backfield at the college level with his success.Currently, Miami’s coaching staff is full after the departures of Addae and Tim Harris Jr. this offseason. The spring festival is due to start in the coming weeks..
