Good News: Las Vegas Raiders Star Has Confirmed That He Will Break All Records Just To….

After winning the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs have a big decision to make with one of their main players, defensive end Chris Jones. Jones is off contract, so he will be a free agent in March. Last season, he and the Chiefs stalled in extension negotiations that carried over into the regular season and ended with both sides only agreeing to a modified one-year contract.

Especially considering Kansas City has other inside linebackers to take care of this spring, notably cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, there’s a good chance Takla will hit the open market. Defensive Tackle is one of the biggest needs for the Las Vegas Raiders and the five-time All-Pro could be just what the team is looking for.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jerry Tillery led the Silver and Black with 29 pressures last season. Jones doubled that number with 75 in the regular season, meaning he could provide a significant boost to Las Vegas’ drive-thru, and the film backs it up.

A few things that stand out about Jones’ game are that he has very good hands and meets offensive linemen. Here is an example of both. Pre-snap, he lines up a little wider than usual and is technically covered by the right tackle. This forces the guard to train him and opens up the inside lane. When Jones gets a flat defense and is two-way, we see a nice swing and the skill to hit a lineman’s face.
