Breaking News: Alabama Head Coach Set To Depart As….

Alabama football fans want more action than talk, but will it happen in the fall?. The Crimson Tide linebacker — a former five-star recruit — revealed his expectations for Alabama’s defensive line in The Bama Standard last week. Michigan native Damon Payne Jr. entered Alabama’s 2022 recruiting class as one of the best inside defensive ends in the nation. He had nine tackles and one loss in 2023, helping the Tide to the Southeastern Conference Championship and the College Football Playoff.

Payne appears to be the top leader in the NFL draft along with Justin Eboigbe. Alabama also lost Isaiah Hastings and Anquin Barnes to NCAA transfers.“The expectation is through the roof with us,” Payne said about Alabama’s defensive line. “We want teams to fear us when we stepped on that line. We want teams to not want to play our defensive line.”Alabama fans have not seen an aggressive defensive lineman since Quinnen WilliamsThe 2016 unit of Jonathan Allen, Da’Ron Payne,

Williams, A’Shawn Robinson, Dalvin Tomlinson, and Jarran Reed was the last one that put fear in the hearts of opponents. Payne named guys such as Jordan Renaud, Edric Hill, Hunter Osborne, and James Smith as young names that are prepared to step up. We will see how they fare soon in spring practice.
