Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett earned 23 first-place votes, 13 second-place votes and 11 third-place votes en route to winning his first AP Defensive Player of the Year award. The Texas A&M product had 42 tackles, 17 TFLs and 14 sacks for the 11-win Browns, while division rival T.J. Watt earned only 19 first-place votes and fewer votes than Garrett. Meanwhile, Las Vegas Raiders superstar Maxx Crosby and Parsons’ teammate DaRon Bland finished fourth and fifth..The Cleveland Browns announced the hiring of Andy Dickerson and Roy Istvan as offensive line coach and assistant offensive line coach, respectively. They are Bill Callahan and Scott Peters, who left last week to coach Tennessee and New England.One of the most important position groups in terms of depth is undoubtedly the offensive line. losing a seemingly insurmountable number of blockers over the course of the year.
