I’M ALIVE’: MOTHER AND SON SURVIVE ENCOUNTER WITH FALLING DEA PLANE

Texas’s Sugar Land — A small plane dropped from the skies over Fort Bend County, striking three persons who are lucky to be alive. The Drug Enforcement Administration’s aircraft was on a training assignment when it had technical issues en route to Sugar Land Regional Airport, carrying three agents. [Ads] The Cessna crashed toward Voss Road, only west of Highway 6, uprooting power lines and knocking out electricity for hundreds of people. Terri Schiel reports that she observed the plane turn toward her Toyota while it was approximately forty feet in the air. She had very little time to reflect. “I believe I was imagining that this plane might crash.”

simply kind of looked up. I wasn’t even really thinking about anything, but I knew that we were going to be struck and would either be here or gone,” Camp remarked. “It slammed us and next thing I know, I’m looking up and I’m like, ‘I’m alive.'” In such a close call, many could have gone crazy, but Jay claimed he felt calmness wash over him. “I felt the spirit of the Lord speak to me after that hit, and he said, ‘Son, I’ve got you.'”
