Pennsylvania driver hospitalized after bizarrely crashing car into second floor of home

Officials stated on Monday that a driver in Pennsylvania suffered injuries on Sunday afternoon after colliding his vehicle with the second story of a house. According to the Junction Fire Company, who arrived at the strange scene “within minutes,” the collision occurred at 3:15 p.m. in the Decatur Township neighbourhood of the 800 block of Alfarta Road. According to FOX 43, when firefighters got there, they discovered that the car’s driver’s side was wedged inside a second-floor room. According to photos, the trunk and back tires dangled off the house as the passenger side of the car came to rest on the roof.

After the driver hit a culvert, which may have led to the driver losing control, Junction Fire authorities revealed how the car ended up on the second level.

The event, according to Lewistown state police, “was the result of the driver attempting to inflict self-harm due to a mental health episode.” They are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
