Acun Ilicali recap: as Hull City owner addressed supporters…

SEPTEMBER SUPPORTER DROP-IN SESSION

Our next monthly supporter drop-in session to help improve the level of care and service to our supporters will take place on Monday 30 September.

Launching in July, our club supporter drop-in session will take place at Tigers Trust Arena on Monday at 4pm, with the session scheduled to run for two hours.

Led primarily by the supporter liaison team, and linked with Tigers Trust, the club’s official charity partner, and the DSA, these monthly drop-in sessions are there for supporters to turn up who need help from the experts at the club on any matter.

Whether it is purchasing a new Membership, a matchday question, understanding the club’s official app or just any other general enquiries, our helpful supporter team will be on the case to answer.

If you cannot meet on the monthly session, but would still like help with something City related, please contact info@wearehullcity.co.uk and we’ll get back to you!

Acun Ilicali recap as Hull City owner addressed supporters

The Tigers chief chaired a hastily arranged fans’ question and answer session

Hull City owner Acun Ilicali spoke to supporters on Tuesday morning as he set out his vision for the new Championship season which begins on Saturday.

Fans have become increasingly worried throughout what has been a difficult summer off the pitch with former boss Liam Rosenior leaving along with a flurry of players, and Tim Walter inheriting a severely weakened squad.

Ilicali moved to allay fears about the forthcoming season and take questions from supporters gathered in the audience, and you can relive what was said right here.

So, the big takeaways
*Remains fully focussed on the job in hand

*A flurry of deals in the pipeline

*Will spend money, and sign four or five permanent players whilst using the loan system later in the month to find the next Jaden Philogene

* Talks ongoing over Charlie Hughes, plus more defenders, midfielders, wingers and strikers – hopeful of arrivals before the weekend

*Oscar could yet leave again and if he does, will be replaced

Acun’s closing words

Thanks for coming, the love and support. You’re our motivation. Please don’t let negativity enter our world and take us down, support our team, our coach. When you lose and have the pain, we have to share it when we lose and nobody should blame each other. We are one family and we have one dream.

Tan:

We’re progressing with the site around the MKM Stadium, but says, as he has done before, will focus on the academy.
