Reba McEntire Brings Snoop Dogg to Tears After Doing Something Never Seen in ‘The Voice’ History

On Monday, The Voice welcomed a new lineup of aspiring artists to take their chance at making their dreams a reality. Although the season just started, Reba McEntire wasted no time showing she is looking for another win.

After gaining a victory thanks to Asher HaVon during last season, it seemed Reba looked to create the perfect team to beat fellow coaches like Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg. And during the season premiere, Reba not only used the first-ever Coach Replay button, but she apparently brought Snoop Dogg to tears.

Fighting back nerves, Kendall Eugene walked on the stage, ready to cover Morgan Wallen’s “Don’t Thank Jesus.” Although pouring his heart out on stage, none of the coaches turned. Somewhat heartbroken over the coaches not turning, Eugene received a great deal of love and praise. But that wasn’t enough for Reba, who admitted, “I don’t understand why I did not turn around.”

The Reason Reba McEntire Used The Coach Replay Button On ‘The Voice’

At that moment, Reba decided to reveal a new element to The Voice this season but using the Coach Replay button. The button allowed a coach to pick a singer they didn’t turn their chair on. “We’ve got this new thing this year, that is a Coach Replay button. I’m going to use mine.”

Bringing Eugene to tears, it appeared that even Snoop Dogg had something in his eye as Reba said, “I love that song that Kendall was singing. And after the song was over, I felt kind of numb. I knew in my heart I wanted him on my team. I’m so glad, for the very first time we have a Coach Replay button. It’s the second chance for the coaches when we realized we missed this moment.”

While a new element to The Voice, fans enjoyed giving the coaches a chance to change their minds. “The Coach Replay is a nice touch. I feel many people don’t get a chair turn when they deserved it so I hope this stays for future seasons.” Although Eugene has a long road ahead of him, the singer already made Reba second guess herself and Snoop Dogg cry. And that was with just one performance.

METHOD MAN CONFIRMS FEATURE ON SNOOP DOGG & DR. DRE’S ‘MISSIONARY’ ALBUM

Method Man has confirmed that he has a feature on Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre‘s highly anticipated Missionary album.

In a live interview with Drink Champs at REVOLT WORLD in Atlanta, the Wu-Tang Clan legend revealed that he will be making an appearance on the project.

After being asked about his dream collaboration would be with one other artist and one producer, Meth said: “I already did something with these guys but I’m gonna use it again: Snoop and Dre.”

He continued: “Every time I work with Dre, I feel like I need a do-over. The first time I was in the studio with him physically there, that chronic [hits] different. I spit a verse but it wasn’t up to par for me, so Dre was gracious enough not to put it out.
