It has been announced that next year’s Tony Awards will take place at the Radio Music Hall for its 78th edition which will happen on the 8th June 2025.
The Tony Awards will be Broadcast live on CBS from 8 to 11pm (ET), and will stream live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers. It will then air on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers, starting 9 June. At this stage there are no plans to show the ceremony in the UK.
Produced in collaboration with with Tony Award Productions, a joint venture of the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, and White Cherry Entertainment, Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss are executive producers and showrunners for White Cherry Entertainment. Weiss will serve as director. Jack Sussman is also an executive producer.
Further details about the 2025 awards ceremony have yet to be announced, including the cut-off date by which Broadway productions must be open in order to be eligible for the 2024 – 2025 awards.

Trains between Reading and Didcot Parkway are facing delays after a suspected trespass incident blocked the line near Goring and Streatley
In a statement online, a spokesperson from National Rail said there had been “major disruption” between Reading, Swindon, and Oxford, with delays expected until 7pm.
An update from Great Western Railway at 6.45pm announced that all lines have now reopened following the emergency.

CrossCountry routes were affected between Bournemouth and Manchester Piccadilly and also between Reading and Birmingham New Street and Newcastle.
Great Western Railway routes were affected between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway, Oxford, Banbury, Cheltenham Spa, Worcester Foregate Street, Bristol Parkway , Bristol Temple Meads, Weston-super-Mare, Taunton, Great Malvern, Hereford, Cardiff Central, Swansea and Carmarthen.
