The Austin Police Department said in a statement Friday morning that it did not “have an expected time frame” for when it would release the victims’ identities but that it typically takes take several days.

Stedman, the Austin-Travis County EMS spokesperson, said at Friday’s early morning news conference that all critical patents were taken to hospitals within 40 minutes.

 

“Considering how complex this scene was, that is pretty impressive,” she said.

 

Among the patients were two adults who were taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries; three adults who were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, two with critical, life-threatening injuries and one with minor injuries; three children who were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center, one with potentially life-threatening injuries and two with minor injuries; and three adults who were taken to Seton Medical Center with minor injuries
