Tennessee football is making final preparations for its Week Two non-conference matchup against North Carolina State. Both teams mostly survived Week One, but there are some injuries to consider heading into gameday.

Tennessee dominated its season opener against Chattanooga. Tennessee defeated the in-state opponent 69-3 as they kicked off the season inside Neyland Stadium.

The Vols will now look to its first ranked matchup of the young season with their Week Two matchup against North Carolina State. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 PM ET kickoff on ABC at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Vols will add sophomore cornerback Rickey Gibson III to their gameday roster on Saturday. Gibson missed the season opener with a minor hamstring injury. Tennessee’s secondary depth has been an issue in years past, so having Gibson ready to go could be a big help for the Vols’ defense
