A $3000 Million Agreement Has Been Reached Between The Leicester City And Brighton….

Leicester leads the Championship by seven points thanks to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s nine goals and nine assists so far this season. The Foxes are willing to pay more than £40 million to sell the midfield player, which is more than either Brentford or Brighton are willing to spend in January.

The Foxes’ inability to find a player of comparable caliber to replace Dewsbury-Hall at this late stage of the window—which ends on Thursday—means that the asking price will probably go up even higher.

Leicester must adhere to the Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR) and have limited room for squad expansion in January.

The league leaders most certainly wouldn’t be able to add to their roster this month unless they sold a player.

But Leicester does not want to sell Dewsbury-Hall, as the manager Enzo Maresca views the midfielder as an important member of his promotion-chasing squad.

Dewsbury-Hall is thought to be interested in only Premier League teams that are contending at the highest levels, as Leicester leads the Championship by seven points and anticipates returning to the top tier right away.

For Leicester this season, Dewsbury-Hall has nine goals and nine assists across all competitions.

He joined the Foxes’ academy and has since made 111 appearances for the team.

The winter transfer window is now open and will end on Thursday, February 1 at 11 p.m. in England and 11.30 p.m. in Scotland.

The closure dates were determined after talks with the EFL, DFL, Serie A, LaLiga, and LFP, who will all close their summer and winter windows on January 1 and February 1, respectively, to guarantee synchronization with the main leagues in Europe.
