There’s no reason to believe Deuce Vaughn is a roster lock right now with the Cowboys. Despite that, there is a good possibility he could outperform his running back peers in training camp and preseason. Dallas still needs to find out what they have in Vaughn and if he’s worth keeping around. Because of that, and the fact both Ezekiel Elliott and Rico Dowdle are known commodities who could be on somewhat of a pitch count, the opportunities for No. 42 to prove his worth should be aplenty, thus helping him outperform his peers.
