Former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Tyler Baron has decommitted from the Ole Miss Rebels and plans to join the Louisville Cardinals, he announced Tuesday on social media. Baron spent the last four years at Tennessee, but entered the transfer window in December following his senior season.

On December 16, he announced his commitment to Ole Miss. Despite that commitment, Baron reportedly visited Louisville last week and announced his 2024 commitment to the Cardinals on Tuesday. Head#039; is now the third player to transfer from Tennessee to Louisville after the 2023 season, joining defensive backs Wesley Walker and Tamarion McDonald, the latter also previously committed to the Rebels. Last year in Knoxville, Baron recorded 10.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks in 12 games, both career highs.
