A fan who tossed brew at the Dutch cyclist en route to triumph in the Visit through Flanders on Walk 31 will confront official procedures for “threatening behavior”, La Derniere Heure revealed.
Reached by AFP, the nearby open investigator’s office didn’t affirm the report.
Last week race manager Thomas Van der Spiegel said that “common procedures will be started when the lager hurlers are distinguished”.
Van der Poel won the Visit through Flanders, the second of the time’s five one-day ‘landmarks’ by one moment and two seconds.
After seven days, he was significantly more predominant as he won Paris-Roubaix, the third landmark, by precisely three minutes despite the fact that he was again the objective of lager, misuse, offending signals and a cap tossed at his wheel on a cobbled segment of the race.
La Derniere Heure expressed writers in the Netherlands had surveyed film and recognized the one who tossed a cap.
