Ronnie O’Sullivan to play in new Saudi snooker event with unusual new …..

Ronnie O’Sullivan is scheduled to compete in the first-ever Riyadh Season World of Snooker later this year in Saudi Arabia. The all-new tournament is scheduled for March, and a novel new idea in snooker called the “gold ball” will be unveiled at the event.

After winning his ninth Masters championship last week, O’Sullivan cemented his status as the greatest in the business. He will be looking to build on this success in the upcoming World Grand Prix in Leicester.

Despite having accomplished everything, the British athlete has never hesitated to skip tournaments in favor of concentrating on competitions he has prioritized. However, it appears that he will be facing up against a new rival in Saudi Arabia this year.

World Snooker and the General Authority of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia have struck an agreement for an event to be held in Riyadh, according to Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the latter organization. The tournament, which is scheduled for March 4-6, the month before the World Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield, will be the first invitational event in the nation.

There will also be a 23rd ball, which will be gold in color and dubbed the Riyadh Season ball. The ball has a 20-point value, but players can only pot it if they have cleared every other ball off the table or if they are on maximum break, which makes it a 167.

“We are excited to be a part of Riyadh Season on this incredible new event that brings together the best players in the world.” It will be our pleasure to introduce our sport to the magnificent city of Riyadh, and this will be the local fans’ first opportunity to witness some of the greatest snooker players ever.
