The Collingwood Football Club is excited to welcome fans to Victoria Park for the 2025 AFLW Pride Round game against Richmond at 3:05pm on Sunday, October 19 with free admission for all to attend.

This will be the sixth AFLW Pride Round with games played across the nation in Rounds 9 and 10 of the AFLW competition. The Round is dedicated to supporting diversity and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ communities.

The Pies will take on the Tigers for the Round 10 game with a variety of activities happening around the ground to celebrate all things Pride Round.

Collingwood will wear its 2025 AFLW Pride Guernsey across the two rounds, with the guernsey featuring a bright gradient rainbow down the middle, sitting alongside the iconic black and white stripes.

The guernsey symbolises the Club’s Side by Side support of the LGBTQIA+ community, to champion an inclusive and connected environment for all people.

Thanks to Collingwood’s match day partner AIA Vitality, the Magpies will welcome everyone to the game, with free tickets to be redeemed via Ticketmaster.

Fans will be able to get their face painted or an airbrush tattooed, jump in a photobooth to capture some memories, and even get creative with the glitter bar or chalk art.

The Pride Patrol Truck will bring the energy, with a DJ and performers putting on a show to get everyone up and about.

Supporting partner Pride in Sport will be activating at the game, providing educational information and support, while fans will also be able to create badges to wear proudly.

CEO Craig Kelly said the Club wants everyone to feel welcomed at the football.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Victoria Park on Sunday, October 19 for the AFLW Pride Round,” Kelly said.

“No matter what your background, we want everyone to feel welcomed and included when attending the footy, because at the end of the day, we all just want to have fun while supporting our team.

“We’re offering free entry, with so many activities on offer, as well as a great game of footy to be played – there will be something for everyone.

“Calling on the Magpie Army to bring your families, rally your friends and get to Vic Park for a special day of Pride Round.”

Executive General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger encouraged fans to get to Victoria Park to celebrate Pride Round.

“Initiatives like Pride Round provide us with an opportunity to celebrate everyone and ensure no matter who you are, you feel safe and represented coming to the football,” Burger said.

“Diversity strengthens our game and important we recognise and continue the important work in this space.”
