A woman in her 60s was killed in a crash Monday just outside the village of Spencerport.

The woman was a passenger in a car driven by her son on Spencerport Road near Sias Lane around 5:30 p.m. when an oncoming SUV turned left in front of her car and hit them, according to Officer Ron Brett from the Ogden Police Department.

After officers attempted CPR on the woman, the woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Brett said. Her son was not injured.

Brett said the SUV driver was also taken to Strong. The extent of his injuries was unclear.

The names of those involved haven’t been released. The crash remains under investigation.
