MASSIVE EXPLOSION I Cocoa Beach Local : few minutes ago in 3 teenagers found dead in Cocoa Beach Local after fire breaks out in farm land police identified …..

Here I am, it was about 12:45. And it was so loud. There’s the house itself that had burned down just a month ago. So it was it’s okay, so what’s going on over here?” Hamel

Dean Hamel woke up to the fire.

“My tree was on fire because some embers got inside the tree. So that was now again, right next to my bedroom,” Hamel said.

This brought multiple agencies to the scene including the ATF, the FBI and bomb squads from both the Patrick Space Force Station and Brevard County sheriff’s office. When on the scene, the agencies asked everyone within 1,000 feet of the structure to evacuate.

“It was not fireworks. We found some shell casings out here and on the road also,” Hamel said.

Just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, the all-clear was given.

“The area is now safe. There were no reported injuries in this incident. This was all for precautions for our citizens and the community,” said Jonathan Lamm, the Cocoa City Fire Chief.

“Think about it. I was right here with a hose. I didn’t know there was ammunition in there. It could have been a lot worse,” Roberts said.

Images from Chopper 2, as seen below, showed stacks of what appeared to be ammunition boxes being collected and organized.
