Morning 4: Massive pileup on I-96 in Ingham County kills 4, injures 17 — and other news

Four people were killed and 17 were seriously injured in a massive pileup on I-96 in Ingham County on Saturday night.

 

The crash happened at around 11:42 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, on I-96 at M-52. Michigan State Police said troopers from the Lansing and Brighton post were working in the area with DTE Energy to string power lines across the expressway when the crash happened.
