According to MNPD, this marks the third time Ervin has been arrested this year. He was previously arrested in July and charged with aggravated assault for his involvement in an April altercation at TNT’s Billiards Bar & Grill on Bell Road.
During the April incident, security at TNT’s reportedly refused to let him in the building because he did not have an ID. Ervin was later released for that incident on a $50,000 bond; however, police said he was released on a $14,000 bond prior to that for a February arrest for DUI and felon in possession of a weapon.
The police department added that Ervin is a registered ex-con for several weapon and drug offenses.
Police arrested a man in connection to a shooting on Joseph Avenue in September.
On September 20, a 36-year-old man arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators said he was shot inside a car in a parking lot on Joseph Avenue. A dispute took place outside and shots were fired, with many of them hitting the victim’s car.
Investigators from the Non-Fatal Shooting Unit arrested 33-year-old Brian Alston at his home on Hinchey Road in Gates. It was alleged Alston had a weapon and fired it during the incident. It’s unknown if he was the one who shot the victim.
A Buffalo man was arrested and charged Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred outside of a local restaurant back in May, the Buffalo Police Department announced.
Officials responded to a shots fired call around 2:30 a.m. on May 26. Police confirmed that the shooting occurred outside of Luxor Steak & Lobster at Main Street and Winspear Avenue. The restaurant was shut down by the city and announced their permanent closure on Facebook in October.
A Manchester man has been arrested in connection with possessing child sex abuse images.
According to Manchester police, 24-year-old Michael Zifchak was being charged with eight counts of possession of child sexual abuse images and seven counts of certain uses of computer services prohibited.
A joint investigation conducted by Manchester Police, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Department, and the NH ICAC Task Force began a month ago when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was alerted to inappropriate activities on a social media account. Through an investigation, police were able to identify Zifchak as the suspect.
