My friend and I were lucky to survive this, the other driver was distracted and swerved into us. Don’t text and drive.
I was nearly in this situation a few weeks ago. As it was, I had to launch off the road at 55 to avoid a woman who had swerved completely into my (oncoming) lane. Even in the moment where I had to react quickly, I saw the cell phone held up close to her face. I drive a Jeep and it handled the offroad jaunt just fine, but needless to say I was pretty shaken up.
I support the death penalty public beatings for people that cause accidents in this manner.Edit: The death penalty bit was a joke.Unbunch
If this is blowing your mind, it’s so much more complex than this! Spiders have up to seven different silk glands producing unique silk with different properties that can be used individually, combined, or the amino acid cocktail within the gland changed to create a lot of unique silk types. For example the horizontal (spiral) lines of sticky strands here are produced from the same silk as the vertical (radial) lines. But the spider out of a separate gland produces a sticky silk ball and places it in intervals along the spiral lines as they are being spun. They also produce a cement silk that they use to attach their webs to structures, as well as different combinations of silk to produce silk that has various degrees of elasticity
