Although I am a native Floridian, I have been enchanted by the coastal area of Maine every time I go there. It’s a little hard to explain. The rocky coastlines are vastly different from the sandy beaches in Florida. The architecture of the houses is charming with an old-world feel. There isn’t anything about it that I don’t like.

My time with Maine Photography brings me back, again and again, for what seems to be endless photographic possibilities. There are so many places to explore and I’m not including Acadia National Park, for which I have an entirely separate gallery. I’m not sure I will ever be able to photograph them

Some of my favorite scenes to photograph involve the lighthouses of Maine. I am always drawn to them. Maine has more lighthouses than any other state in the United States, with over 60 lighthouses along its coast. The Maine lighthouses have been featured in paintings, photographs, and novels. Portland Head Light, located in Cape Elizabeth, is one of the oldest lighthouses in Maine as it was commissioned by George Washington and was built in 1791. The tallest lighthouse in Maine is the Bass Harbor Head Light (56 feet tall) which is located in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. Some Maine lighthouses are open to the public and offer tours.

Maine Landscape Photography is not complete without the many Maine lighthouses that have a rich maritime history. They often played an important role in guiding ships and protecting sailors from treacherous coastlines and rocky shoals. but each lighthouse has its own unique story and beauty. Learning about and exploring these beacons of light can be a fascinating journey where you appreciate their beauty as well as learn about Maine’s maritime heritage.

It can help elevate your space and create a lasting impression on those who enter your home or office.

In interior design, wall art should be more than mere decoration. It pulls the room together and is the finishing touch to creating the ambiance you desire in your living space. Wall art can be many things such as a conversation starter, a focal point; it can bring the outdoors inside, or it can add a splash of color that will stand out.

By featuring high-quality prints of these landscapes, you create a focal point that draws attention and adds a unique touch to your décor.

Choose striking Maine photographs to complement your room’s color scheme and style.
