Do join us on Sunday if you can for a massive encounter between Australia and India at the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The semifinals are in reach for both.

We hope you enjoyed our coverage of today’s fascinating encounter, and on behalf of Kevin Hand, this is Rohan Sharma signing off.

Victorious India captain Suryakumar provided his thoughts at the post-match presentation as well.

“We have achieved a lot as a team. [Before the series started] I wanted selfless cricketers in my team. We want to enjoy each other’s performance. That camaraderie is carrying onto the field.

“No one is bigger than the team. If you are on 99, 49, anything, and you feel you have to hit the ball out of the park for the team, you do so.

“You have to be really flexible when it comes to it. Everyone has to chip in when they can. The way the boys performed in the series was commendable. Just need to maintain the good habits [going forward].”
