RUTHERFORDTON, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Rutherford County Airport officials said a plane crash happened on Thursday night.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the nose gear on a single-engine Navion collapsed while landing at the airport around 5:30 p.m. Two people were on board.
Airport officials said there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating this crash.
