Original Narration: Two adult men who became separated from their boat and were in difficulty a mile and a half offshore were reported to South Lake Tahoe Fire & Rescue (SLTFR) at 3:40 p.m. on Monday. One of the victims allegedly suffered serious injuries. Responding agencies included the Coast Guard, Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Tahoe-Douglas Fire District, South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, and South Lake Tahoe Police Department. They claim that while the first victim and their boat were located right away, the second victim was never found. It took crews forty-five minutes to find him.
